Sad to see mankind and our Government did this to human kind knowing it was going to do a lot of damage. Thankful when I was born my parents put in a claim with the government and 19 years later it finally was awarded. With out my Agent Orange benefits I would not be able to live independently. My dad was in Vietnam and exposed to lots of Agent Orange and vet’s around the time I was born seemed to be having a high number of children with the birth defects Spina Bifida. The government never alerted us we could get benefits. My dad happened to read it in a newspaper at work one day. It was only open for a limited time and you had to do tons and tons of paperwork to try to qualify. Sadly, most did not hear about such a thing and missed out on the livelong benefits that could make them independent also.
